Meloidogyne enterolobii – Survival under temperate climate conditions and distribution within Europe

The project has been.initiated to generate knowledge on the epidemiology of M. enterolobii under temperate conditions. Particularly focussing on the survival, also in absence of host plants,  the duration of thb life cycle of M. enterolobii and assessing adaptation under more temperate conditions by performing:

1. Life cycle experimenis
2. Survival experimenets in outdoor conditions during the winter and in climate rooms
3. Infectivity experiments in climate rooms

Furthermore, the project will evaluate the occurrence and distribution of M. enterolobii by surveillance within the participating countries and the partners will share knowledge on sampling and diagnostic  methods M. enterolobii.
